Ich heiße Pablo Gil Aguado und bin Spanier. Internationalität zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch mein Leben. Im Alter von zwei Jahren bin ich mit meiner Familie nach Wien ausgewandert. Dort hatte ich das Vergnügen die Vienna International School besuchen zu dürfen und damit hatte ich das Glück viele unterschiedliche Kulturen kennengelernt und bereist zu haben. Dieser internationale Hintergrund ließ mich mehrsprachig aufwachsen.

Das Medizinstudium absolvierte ich in Wien. Meine berufliche Laufbahn führte mich zunächst nach Kaiserslautern in Deutschland. Die Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Psychiatrie und psychotherapeutische Medizin setzte ich in Wien und Salzburg fort. Heute leite ich in der Privatklinik Wehrle-Diakonissen die Abteilung für Psychosomatik und biete in meiner Praxis psychiatrische Unterstützung in den Sprachen Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch an.

Glücklicherweise hat die Psychiatrie in den letzten Jahrzehnten einen positiven Wandel durchlaufen. Von einem gesellschaftlichen Tabu mit Ausgrenzung und Ausstoßung, ist sie mittlerweile zu einer sozial akzeptierten medizinische Fachdisziplin geworden. Ich biete Ihnen ein offenes Ohr, fange Sie auf und begleite Sie auf Ihrem Weg.

My name is Pablo Gil Aguado and I am from Spain. When I was two my family moved to Austria, where I had the good fortune of attending the Vienna International School. It is thus that I grew up in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

I am a graduate of the Medical University of Vienna. My professional career took me initially to Kaiserslautern, Germany, and then to Vienna and Salzburg, where I completed my specialty in Psychiatrics and Psychotherapy. Today I am the head of the Department for Psychosomatic Medicine at the private EMCO Clinic here in Salzburg. I also run a private practice where I provide psychiatric support in three languages.

Fortunately, Psychiatry has taken a turn for the better in recent decades. From being a taboo subject associated with social exclusion, it has become a socially valued and fully accepted medical discipline. I offer a helping hand in difficult times and accompany you along your chosen path.

Me llamo Pablo Gil Aguado y soy español. Lo internacional es una constante en mi vida. Con dos años mi familia se mudó a Viena, donde tuve la suerte de estudiar en el colegio internacional de la ciudad y así conocer de cerca muchas culturas diferentes.

Estudié medicina en Viena. Inicié mi carrera profesional en Kaiserslautern, continuando mi formación como especialista en psiquiatría y psicoterapia en Viena y Salzburgo. Hoy dirijo el servicio de psicosomática de la clínica privada EMCO y ofrezco apoyo psiquiátrico en mi consulta privada en alemán, español e inglés.

Afortunadamente la psiquiatría ha experimentado importantes avances en las últimas décadas. De tabú social se ha convertido en una disciplina médica plenamente aceptada y valorada por la sociedad en su conjunto. Le ofrezco mi oído, mi apoyo en momentos difíciles y mi acompañamiento en su camino vital.
